A better way to deliver ADAC
Every infrastructure project eventually reaches the same critical point: handover.
The drawings may be finished, but the asset information needed for ADAC is often still scattered across CAD files, spreadsheets, documents and email conversations. Surveyors, engineers, consultants and developers each hold part of the picture—and someone must bring it all together before Council can use it.
ADACX creates one connected environment for that process.
Everyone involved can contribute the information they are responsible for, work from the same project record and prepare a complete, traceable handover package containing the drawings, supporting documents and validated ADAC XML.
No passing files from person to person.
No uncertainty about which information is current.
No waiting until the end of the project to discover what is missing.
From data creation to final handover
ADACX CAD
Create, edit, validate and export ADAC asset data directly from supported CAD applications.
ADACX Projects
Give developers and project teams one place to coordinate contributors, manage project information and assemble the complete handover package.
ADACX Council
Give councils a consistent environment for defining requirements, receiving submissions, reviewing information and maintaining a clear record of every handover.
ADAC defines the standard. ADACX makes it operational.
Built from more than ten years of ADAC experience
Since the fully rebuilt release from ADAC V3 to V4, ADACX has grown from more than a decade of working with ADAC data and seeing the practical difficulties faced by the people expected to produce it.
The technology for creating an XML file is only part of the answer. Successful asset handover requires coordination between every organisation contributing to the project—and a reliable way for the receiving council to manage the result.
ADACX is being developed to provide that missing connection.
Coming soon
ADACX CAD, Projects and Council are approaching production release.
We are currently speaking with councils, developers, surveyors and engineering organisations interested in helping shape a simpler and more effective approach to ADAC delivery.
If you represent a council, developer, consultancy or existing ADACX customer, contact us to register your interest or arrange an early discussion.
