In the ADACX feature explorer we can select any ADAC asset feature.
ADACX zooms in to that item, and displays the asset data ready for editing.

Create Data Rich Drawings

We can use ADACX alongside our usual drafting procedures to create over 65 types of data-rich features ready for export.
We can add, edit and update...

Welcome to ADACX!

What is ADACX?

ADACX is a plug-in for BricsCAD and is built to do one thing and to do it well – to create ADAC XML data from CAD drawings.
Working in a .DWG survey drawing or design drawing, we can identify road pavements, pipes and other assets. We can add road pavement details, pipe sizes and other asset information required by councils. Then we can export an ADAC-compliant XML file for submission to council. (We can also import such valid XML files into an empty drawing to verify their contents).

ADACX For AutoCAD Update!

Critical Fixes for AutoCAD Version
We've had a bit of a battle with the new AutoCAD version of ADACX but we've finally got a handle on the issues and have now released a new version with some critical fixes.
Both the Bricscad and AutoCAD version are now in sync code wise so both work identically on each platform.
If you previously tried the AutoCAD version and had issues, please download the latest version 4.2.0.4 and give it a go and feel free to send us any feedback, we'd like to hear from you.

ADACX - AutoCAD version now available!

Hi All,

We are happy to announce we have completed a build of ADACX that now works with AutoCAD.
It's now available from the downloads page, just install as usual and the steps are the same as for Bricscad for setup etc.

This is the first release and although we have done a lot of testing there will no doubt be some edge cases we have missed and if you do find them please let us know and we'll get onto it straight away.

If you have any questions feel free to call Mick on 0417 029 459.

Thanks,
-- The ADACX Team

ADACX - ADAC4.2 schema now available

Hi All,

A new major release that includes both the ADAC4.1 and 4.2 schemas is available for download on the downloads page.
http://www.adacx.com.au/adacx-download

Note that there are some changes to the ADACX user interface tools to enable both versions and there is a pdf file bundled with the installer and you can read about it at the following link:

ADAC 4.2 Update - User Interface Changes

With the latest release of ADACX we have included the ability to create and edit ADAC schema versions 4.1 and 4.2.
With this change we had to change the user interface tools to make it easy to choose which version of the schema you want to use for the current drafting session.

The main change is the new .cui file which loads the toolbar icons and menu for ADACX, you will need to unload the currnet version (if it is still loaded after installing the latest ADACX) and load the new version name ADACX-BCAD.cui

Priority update V4.1.1.9

A new priority release of ADACX is available for download at www.adacx.com.au/adacx-download.

Fixed
- the geometry xml of moved objects was not being updated on export
- update feature was not working on some features
- minor bug fixes

We are aware of a few issues with the tree view and dialog in general that we are working on at the moment.
We will be updating the zoom to feature tool to have a toggle on/off to be automatic.

ADACX Priority Update V4.1.1.7

The current updated release of ADACX is now available at our site - http://www.adacx.com.au/adacx-download

This is a priority update and it is highly recommended you update as soon as possible.

We have updated the entity selection filter for creating features to include 3D polylines for basic things like Connections and more complicated features with actual elevations at points.
This will enable us in the near future to automatically fill fields for data such as length and elevations of levels etc.

ADACX V15 4.1.1.5 is available (priority!)

Hi All,
Due to some great feedback from our users and the varying set ups of the receiving entities we have come across a few bugs and limitations of ADACX.
As a result we've done quite a bit of work to resolve these issues and get back up to speed.

There are some brief comments on the ADACX download page for this latest PRIORITY release - http://www.adacx.com.au/adacx-download
